1. Information We Collect
Email address: When you join our VIP waitlist or sign up for updates.
Name and shipping address: When you complete a pledge through Kickstarter or a purchase through our store.
Payment information: Processed securely through Kickstarter and Shopify Payments. We never store card numbers.
Usage data: Pages visited, time on site, referral source — collected anonymously via Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your email to send product launch notifications, shipping updates, and occasional promotional offers from Sleep68. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. We send no more than 2–3 emails per month outside of active launch periods.
We use analytics data to improve our website and understand our audience. We never use your data for ad targeting without your explicit consent.
3. Data Sharing
We never sell your personal data. We share data only with: Klaviyo (email platform), Shopify (store platform), Google Analytics (anonymous usage data), and Kickstarter (pledge fulfillment). Each is bound by their own privacy policies.
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies (required for the store to function) and analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity). You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings or via our cookie banner. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. Email us at hello@sleep68.com and we will respond within 5 business days.
If you are in the European Union, you have additional rights under GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
6. Data Retention
We retain email addresses until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Order and shipping data is retained for 3 years for accounting purposes, then securely deleted.
